The establishment of the Josef Mühlbauer Foundation in 2005 was an important step in his social commitment. The aim of the foundation is to support civil society projects on a sustainable and long-term basis by promoting and realizing various initiatives all over the world.
To achieve this, we carry out our own aid projects or actively participate in projects and measures of recognized aid organizations and suitable initiatives around the world.
MÜHLBAUER CHARITY RUN
running for a good cause
Since 2005, the Mühlbauer run has been an integral part of our corporate culture. Together, our employees run or walk different distances to collect as many donations as possible for different projects worldwide. All the money raised - whether entry fees, donations or sponsorship income - is donated to social or humanitarian projects or institutions.
The Mühlbauer Run has already established itself in the annual calendar of the Cham district. The race started as a purely internal event but, by now, more than 2,000 participants run and walk annually for the good cause – employees, business partners and lots of sports enthusiasts.

Thanks to your support, the Mühlbauer Group has so far been able to donate more than € 1,000,000 to regional and international charitable projects.
